From Kings and Queens to lower classmen, many are poor while others bathe in gold. Here is where you can find out how your character can fit and if you are able to. Of course, not all can be Kings and Queens, so get over it.

King;
The one who rules them all, the king of the land rules all whom live in side of it. He is the one who enforces most of the rules, or at least the one who makes the rules. He controls all of his armies, and always makes the final decisions on everything that goes within the castle walls. If he doesn't like someone that he's captured or he feels that they aren't worthy, he may either cut off their head, or just banish them somewhere off in the Netherlands. Lets just hope that you get the second one.
Queen;
Second in command, though often is just seen sitting by her King's side. Though sometimes many Kings do no have a Queen, many women whom are are just used as breeding mechanizes or used as peace treaties from other countries when married. These women often sit by their men silently, and do not do a thing unless asked to. Many Queens are known to be rebellious, and many of those women have been known to have been killed due to this. A sad thing, really, but that's just how the world works.

Prince;
Out of the right of passage, all Kings and Queens often hope for boys to bare. Princes are often thought of as greater than any man, mostly because the first born son - no matter if he has an older sister - is crowned throne either when he comes of age, or when his father passes away due to any circumstances. Therefore, the first born is taught from a young age how to act properly when around others, and his father often brings him along for journeys to other countries. If the oldest dies, however, before he is crowned, then the second born is to take the throne, and so on and so forth. They must also take a women after taking the throne.
Princess;
Weather they be first born or last, Princesses are the ones who have the most training in their life. The effect of the brothers having the throne does not matter to them at all; Princesses still have a roll even after their brother is to become king. They are taught manners and delicacy from a young age, and, when they become old enough, have to find partners that are of middle class or higher, though often their husbands are not of their choosing, but of their fathers; he chooses which man seems fitting, from the most money to the kindest of heart, to what they can offer for the girl in exchange for marriage. A sad thing, but something often dealt with easily.

Royal Adviser;
The one who helps the King and his family, the Royal Adviser is the one most trusted in the family. They help decide rules, help the king decide what is most fitting for his kingdom, and help decide what to expect from the King's people; from taxes to paying respects, they help with it all. Of course, the greater part of the legendary books tells of advisers whom are greedy, and often try to over throw the king in order to gain the throne for them selves. Apparently, there are few whom are trustful.
Royal Priest;
The Royal Priest is the one whom often conceals prayers for the royal family. From baptizing to dinner every night and leading the royal pray, the priest is often the most loyal one, and the one who is most consulted by the prince and princesses of the castle when they are looking for someone to talk to. They seem even more trusting than the royal adviser, and there have been conspiracy talks about the priests being bumped up to the royal adviser instead.

Noblemen;
Of the higher class, Noblemen are the ones known to have plentiful land, and higher lower-class workers to do things to it such as plow and plant them for little to no money, yet a place to stay in. Noblemen are known to be closely, if not slightly, related to the royal family. They are the ones who also are allowed to ask the Princesses hand in marriage, as well as the Prince's choosing - if he is not the oldest - to get married to.
Middle-Class Men;
Middle-Class men aren't as rich as the Noblemen or the royal families, but have enough money in the bank to spend it on in which they please after they have been taxed for the year. The middle class are the ones who often own businesses for people to buy from, from large factories to bakeries around the corner from where you shop. Middle class-men often marry into the middle class, rare it may be that they marry into the higher class as well

Lower Class-men;
Those in the lower class are often really poor, have little to no money, and are living on the lower side of town. Many could have been born this way, or they could have been of the middle or higher class and could have been stripped of everything they had and have been forced to live like this. Lower class people are the ones who often work the most for Nobles, often for little to no money, and a bad shelter. If they have land, there are very little of it, and they usually raise livestock to sell to butchers. They barely have homes, and often lower class-men die of illness or hunger before they hit thirty.
Beggers;
The lowest of the low, beggers have no home, have lost everything they have ever owned - if anything - and are often caught wandering the streets in search of food and shelter, often getting shunned because of what they do. This class - if you want to call it a class - consists of mostly disabled people, sick people, and elderly people whom cannot work too well and therefore can barely keep a job, let alone get one from someone who is looking for an abled person.
