***
NAME: Michael Smith Awbry
NICKNAMES: Mike
GENDER: Male
AGE: 21
RACE: Human
SEXUALITY: Bi-Sexual
HOME: Outside of Lumbridge
OCCUPATION: Farmer/Knight-In-Training
THEME SONG: Simple Man - Shinedown; Retina and the Sky - Idiot Pilot
APPERANCE: Michael stands at roughly five feet eight inches [5'8"], a fair height for most people. He has dirty blonde hair that is usually spiked up by it self, with some "banges" that covers his left eye, which both are Emerald colored. [Except for the right, though it is just a bit lighter than the other. Being raised on a farm, and doing most of the hard labor because he was one of the only males, Michael is fairly muscular with tanned skin. He has a few scars here and there, such as one on his left arm that is fairly visible, starting from his elbow and ending at his wrist, and nearly circles all the way around his arm.
His clothes are not all that spectacular in compariosn to most people. He usually wears a light green short shleeved shirt, with a long sleeve that matches in case it gets chilly. He wears pants mostly all the time, which are darker than his shirt, and basic brown shoes that stand out from his attire. His bag is a basic brown sac that hangs off of his back, and carries all of his nessesities. He also has a wooden sheild that he carries just under his bag - when not in use - on his back, and a dagger that is seethed on his belt. Around his wrists are two brown bands, of which he has no real use for. [He just likes them, beleive it or not.] He also carries a necklace; it really isn't unquie at all, just a string with an emerald bead tied to it that he keeps underneath his shirt.
PERSONALITY:
FRIENDLY; michael is an openly friendly guy; he'll be the one to make friends with anyone who seems to want to make friends, and will often help people who seem to need it, such as if someone has dropped their items, or have lost something. he offers a smile to everyone he meets, and unless someone hates him and shows it, he'll get along with anyone he meets. he doesn't mind a friendly rivalry, of course; just so long as no one gets hurt. he doesn't mind having a conversation that he does not know; that's how people learn, isn't it? plus, you make new allies in that way. at least, that's what he believes. he'll often be the first one to introduce himself if he sees need be; often walking up to random people if they catch his eye or if he notices them noticing him. he also will often walk up to others to ask questions when one sees it random, however it is normal to him.
ADVENTEREOUS; being an adventurer, one would have to have this trait in order to be so. michael loves traveling around, loves going to new places. he doesn't not care if it takes him to the end of the world, or to a dangerous place that he may not come out of; the thrill of it all is what gets to him his is usual explanation. this also makes his thirst for knowledge even larger; if he's never heard of a place, or never seen it, or both, then that will be all the more drive to find it and explore it and try to come back with more information. he plans on traveling all around the world one day; he wants to see every nook and cranny there is to see and, although he's not greedy, he wishes to find great riches and bring them back to his family, if only to make them a little bit happier.
PERSISTENT; if michael has a goal in mind, he has a habit of wanting to go after it, no matter the costs. goals are what keep him going, he says, and he plans on meeting all of them that he can. he likes to think that if you cannot complete a goal in mind, then you cannot follow your dream and that means that you can never get what you want or wish for. therefore, any dream or goal that pops into his head, he adds to his ever growing list and goes after it, even if it means death. he knows that the one he currently has - to be a knight - seems so far away; you'd need a lot of training and a lot of experience. however, he plans of first completing the goal of a lifetime, which is to find the ultimate riches. where is he going to find this, you may ask? well, he hasn't quite a clue, either, and yet will keep searching until he finds every last drop of it.
RELIABLE; the second of michael's flaws. or so some would say about him. michael is a very reliable person, and often upholds his promises. he doesn't like letting people down, and usually does not make a promise that he does not think cannot keep. which usually, he tries to make a promise to those who need one, however often knows how to hold back. this is, however, what shows others that he can be a good friend; he doesn't like letting other people down, as said before, and therefore will go to great lengths to help others and keep promises that he has made. his father had always scorned him for doing such things when going to the market to sell, he would make promises to others that sounded that he could not keep, however, his brother never doubted his abilities for a minute.
EASILY TRUSTS; his greatest weakness; having grown up on a farm and known little of a life outside of this, michael can sometimes be a little childish when it comes to trusting people. his parents taught him better, yes. but stories of what he grandparents told him and of the cities and towns he visited, and the people he met, he often believes a lot of what people tell him. his parents were always truthful with him, and so was sister; his brother and he got into arguments and sure, they got into fights and tried to trick each other and the sorts. however, michael never thought anything of it. therefore, he can be a little bit naive when it comes to things like trusting too easily. he knows right from wrong, yet he cannot always tell the good people from the bad.

HISTORY: Michael isn't what you would often think as the same as everyone else. When truly, he actually is. Twenty-one years ago, Michael Awbry was born on a farm, not in a hospital or atleast in a fair place like others. Then again, anyone who lived far away from a town or village couldn't really get to a place quick enough to have someone deliever a child for them. A bad thing, his mother would say, although nothing would have really changed the young lad if he was born in a much nicer place than a barn. [And of which, if anyone asks, he can rightfully say yes to that question. What a laugh, huh? I thought so.]
Growing up on a far toughed him up a little, to say the least. Michael had one younger sister, an older brother and older sister. While his sisters learned how to be "proper ladies" - which Michael still laughs at, because their family is as poor as hell, in all sense, so why would they need to be ladies anyway? - he and his brother, as well as their father, worked outside work, tending to crops and live stock nearly all year round. They boy didn't mind the work; his father just sometimes over-stressed it in a sense. Mostly because Michael wouldn't get the farm anyway; his brother Joshua would, since he was the oldest son in the family. Michael would get, well, that he didn't know yet. And he didn't really feel like asking his father just yet.
By the age of fifteen, Michael and Josh - whom now was at age nineteen, practically a man ready to wed - they were both able to take good to the nearby market to sale every spring and fall. In which Michael was feeling more responsible than he used to. [Their father always used to have to go with them, and along the way told them stories that he did not want to hear.] And through these travels, which would take a half a days work to get there, sale their goods, and get back, Michael's inspiration began to grow. Instantly he adored the city life, and how much each new place had to offer. He knew he couldn't do much good staying with his brother at their farm once he inherited it.
It seemed he could do so much better traveling, being one of those famous heroes. The stories he remembered hearing when he was young only inspired him more. When he told his parents of this idea, of traveling and making a fortune of it, they both seemed happy to agree. [Although his mother, he knew, feared for her son's life, going out into unknown places. And really, he could not blame her.] So on the day of his twenty-first birthday, he packed up and his family sent him off in farewell, hoping letters from him with good news soon.
